Pulsa is een peer-to-peer laadnetwerk dat particuliere laadpunten verbindt met EV-rijders. We starten in Nederland, België en Duitsland, en breiden van daaruit verder uit door Europa. Overal staan laadpalen op opritten die het grootste deel van de dag stilstaan. Pulsa maakt die stilstaande capaciteit bruikbaar: hosts stellen hun laadpunt beschikbaar wanneer het hun uitkomt, rijders laden dichtbij waar ze toch al zijn.

Dit netwerk begint nu, en groeit met iedereen die meedoet. Hoe meer mensen hun laadpaal delen, hoe dichterbij je volgende laadplek. En je hoeft niet te kiezen: met één account ben je host én rijder, en verdien je aan je eigen paal terwijl je onderweg bij een ander laadt.

In de app zie je de beschikbare laadpunten in je omgeving. Plan een sessie tot drie dagen vooruit, of laad direct op de plek waar je bent. Bij elk laadpunt zie je vooraf het tarief en de voorwaarden die de host heeft ingesteld. Die bepaalt namelijk zelf wanneer, voor welk tarief en voor wie zijn paal beschikbaar is (→ Voor hosts). Slimmer laden

Laden bij een host is bovendien slimmer laden. Wie overdag dichtbij laadt, gebruikt stroom op het moment dat er vaak een lokaal overschot is, bijvoorbeeld van zonnepanelen in de buurt, en ontlast zo het net in de drukke avonduren (→ Over Pulsa).

Veilig, altijd

En het voelt veilig, omdat het veilig is. Geen laadpaal die voor iedereen openstaat: elke sessie loopt beveiligd via de app, alleen wie de host toelaat kan laden, en de betaling is vooraf geregeld. Zo wordt laden bij een ander vanzelfsprekend.

Over Pulsa

Samen laden we Europa op

Overal verschenen zonnepanelen op de daken en laadpalen op de opritten. Maar het systeem eronder liep vast: het net raakt overvol, de vergoeding voor teruggeleverde stroom verdwijnt, en je overschot lekt weg naar grote partijen die er goed aan verdienen. Pulsa draait dat om. In plaats van af te wachten, nemen we het zelf in handen: mensen die elkaars laadpaal gebruiken, over de grenzen heen.

Van overschot naar waarde

Elke zonnige dag wekken duizenden daken meer op dan hun eigenaren gebruiken. Dat overschot is een schat die nu grotendeels verloren gaat: teruggeleverd aan het net voor een schijntje, of straks zelfs met verlies. Pulsa maakt van dat overschot iets waardevols: een host verkoopt zijn zonnestroom aan een rijder die er precies op dat moment iets aan heeft. Lokaal opgewekt, lokaal gebruikt, en de waarde blijft bij de mensen zelf.

Beter voor het net, beter voor iedereen

Het grootste probleem van de energietransitie is timing. Overdag is er te veel stroom, ’s avonds te weinig, en het net kraakt onder die pieken. Wie overdag dichtbij laadt op lokaal zonne-overschot, verschuift zijn verbruik naar het juiste moment, en verlicht zo de avondpiek. Eén laadpaal maakt geen verschil. Maar duizenden mensen die dit samen doen, ontlasten het net. Zo is elke laadsessie een klein zetje in de goede richting.

Een gedragsverandering, samen

Ooit was het ondenkbaar om bij een vreemde te slapen of bij een onbekende in de auto te stappen. Airbnb en Uber lieten zien dat mensen elkaar wél vertrouwen, zolang het goed en veilig geregeld is. Pulsa brengt diezelfde verandering naar laden: je laadpaal delen met iemand uit de buurt wordt heel gewoon. Niet omdat het moet, maar omdat het slimmer is, en omdat we het samen doen. Elke host en elke rijder die meedoet, maakt het netwerk een stukje sterker.

Pulsa is geen bedrijf dat je stroom verkoopt. Het is een netwerk van mensen die de energietransitie zelf in handen nemen: de een door zijn laadpaal te delen, de ander door lokaal te laden. Hieronder zie je stap voor stap hoe het werkt: voor rijders én voor hosts.

Vind een laadpunt

Je vindt een plek op twee manieren. Plan vooruit door te zoeken op datum, tijd en locatie, tot drie dagen van tevoren. Of laad direct: op de kaart zie je de laadpunten die op dit moment vrij zijn, bij jou in de buurt. Wat gereserveerd of in gebruik is, zie je niet. Je ziet alleen wat je echt kunt boeken. Bij elk laadpunt staat vooraf de prijs per kWh.

Reserveer je plek

Kies een vrij tijdslot en vraag de sessie aan. Zodra de host je aanvraag bevestigt, reserveert Stripe € 30 op je kaart: een borg, zoals bij een tankstation. Je betaalt dat niet; het staat alleen even vast. Je plek is dan voor jou gereserveerd, zodat niemand anders 'm kan boeken.

Laad

Op je gereserveerde tijd ontgrendelt de sessie via de app, alleen voor jou. Je sluit je auto aan en laadt. De host hoeft er niet voor thuis te zijn, en buiten jouw sessie blijft de laadpaal op slot.

Reken automatisch af

Klaar met laden? Je rekent automatisch af op de exacte kilowattuur die je hebt geladen, tegen het tarief dat gold bij de start, plus het vaste starttarief van € 0,35. De rest van de borg komt meteen weer vrij. Het bedrag gaat rechtstreeks naar de host; Pulsa houdt alleen de fee van € 0,05 per kWh.

Registreer je laadpaal

Je meldt je aan en registreert je laadpaal in de app. Zo weet Pulsa welke paal van jou is en kan de app de laadsessies veilig aansturen.

Koppel je rekening via Stripe

Je koppelt eenmalig je bankrekening via Stripe, dezelfde betaalpartij die je ook uitbetaalt. Zo loopt je geld rechtstreeks naar je eigen rekening en zit Pulsa er nooit tussen.

Stel je beschikbaarheid en tarief in

Jij bepaalt wanneer je laadpaal beschikbaar is, tegen welk tarief, en voor wie. Verschillende tarieven voor dag en avond? Kan. De uren die je vrijhoudt, blijven voor jezelf.

Word automatisch uitbetaald

Daarna vinden rijders je en vragen een sessie aan binnen jouw voorwaarden. Accepteer je hun aanvraag, dan is de boeking bevestigd. Na elke sessie word je automatisch uitbetaald. Je hoeft er niet eens voor thuis te zijn. (→ Voor hosts)

Altijd veilig en transparant

Van reserveren tot betalen loopt elke stap via de Pulsa-app. Je laadpaal gaat alleen open voor wie geboekt heeft, op het afgesproken moment, en het bedrag staat vooraf vast. Zo weten host en rijder allebei precies waar ze aan toe zijn.

Laden regelen we voortaan onderling

Overal legden mensen zonnepanelen op het dak, aangemoedigd en met reden. Maar nu de spelregels veranderen en je overschot bijna niets meer opbrengt bij het net, wordt het tijd voor iets beters. Niet wachten op de overheid of de energiemaatschappij, maar het zelf regelen, samen. Een laadnetwerk van mensen onderling, van jouw straat tot dwars door Europa. En het begint nu. De eerste hosts leggen de basis van het netwerk waar straks iedereen op laadt. Dat is Pulsa.

Haal het maximale uit je investering

Je zonnepanelen en je laadpaal hebben je flink wat gekost, en het grootste deel van de dag staan ze niet optimaal te renderen. Je overschot verdwijnt naar het net voor een schijntje, en met het einde van de salderingsregeling (een Nederlandse regeling; in België en Duitsland gelden andere regels) wordt dat schijntje alleen maar kleiner. Met Pulsa verkoop je die stroom lokaal, tegen jouw tarief, aan een rijder om de hoek. Dezelfde panelen, dezelfde paal: nu pas echt rendabel. En de zonnestroom die je zelf gebruikt, is sowieso vrij van energiebelasting en btw.

Panelen uitzetten of een dure batterij? Het kan makkelijker

Je hoort het de laatste tijd overal: op zonnige dagen levert terugleveren soms niets meer op, en met een dynamisch contract betaal je er soms zelfs voor. Het advies is dan: zet je panelen uit, of koop een thuisbatterij van duizenden euro’s. Maar er is een simpelere manier om je overschot kwijt te raken, precies op het moment dat je het opwekt: laat een auto bij je laden. Die neemt je zonnestroom direct af: een batterij op wielen die je niet hoeft te kopen, en die jóu betaalt in plaats van andersom.

Je laadpaal hoeft nooit open

Dit is waar Pulsa zich onderscheidt. Je hoeft je laadpaal nooit "vrij" of open te zetten voor iedereen. Elke sessie verloopt beveiligd via de Pulsa-app: alleen de rijder die bij jou geboekt heeft kan laden, en alleen op het tijdslot dat jij hebt vrijgegeven. Daarbuiten kan niemand bij je terecht. Je laadpaal blijft op slot.

En de betaling is geregeld vóórdat er één kilowattuur loopt. Pulsa houdt het bedrag vast op de kaart van de rijder, dus je levert nooit stroom aan iemand die achteraf niet betaalt. Na de sessie wordt automatisch afgerekend op de exacte kWh, en het geld komt vanzelf op je rekening. Geen betaalverzoeken achteraf, geen incassogedoe. Jij bepaalt wie laden mag; Pulsa bewaakt de toegang en de betaling.

Jij bepaalt hoe je host bent

Dit is en blijft jouw oprit. Jij kiest je tarief, wanneer je open bent en voor wie. Reserveer je weekenden voor jezelf. Vraag een scherp tarief om rijders te trekken, of laat je B&B-gasten laden als extraatje. Woon je landelijk, waar een laadpaal ver weg is? Dan help je een reiziger die de omgeving verkent. Van één vaste buur tot voorbijgangers: jij trekt de grenzen, altijd.

Wat je van elkaar mag verwachten

Je laadpaal delen via Pulsa is helemaal jouw keuze. Jij bepaalt wanneer je laadpaal beschikbaar is en wat je ervoor vraagt. Zo verdien je eenvoudig iets extra's met een laadpaal die je toch al hebt.

En delen werkt natuurlijk het prettigst als iedereen weet waar hij aan toe is. Wanneer een rijder bij jou reserveert, rekent die erop dat jouw laadpaal op het afgesproken moment beschikbaar en klaar voor gebruik is.

Jouw laadpaal blijft jouw laadpaal. Je blijft zelf verantwoordelijk voor het beheer, het onderhoud en de goede werking ervan. Ook het oplossen van technische problemen met je laadpaal of de bijbehorende systemen blijft bij jou en je eigen leverancier of dienstverlener.

Pulsa neemt dat beheer niet over. Wij bieden het platform waarmee je jouw laadpaal eenvoudig kunt delen. We maken reserveren en betalen mogelijk, zodat jij je kunt richten op wat voor jou belangrijk is: op een prettige manier iets extra's verdienen.

Zo houden we het samen eenvoudig, duidelijk en prettig voor iedereen.

Daarom loopt elke sessie via Pulsa, met heldere afspraken vooraf. Je weet wie er komt, wanneer, en wat je eraan verdient. Buiten jouw tijden kan niemand bij je laden. Jij houdt van begin tot eind de controle. Vertrouwen is bij Pulsa geen bijzaak, maar de basis.

Samen ontlast je het net

Wie overdag bij jou laadt op jouw zonnestroom, hoeft ’s avonds niet thuis te laden in de piek. Eén laadpaal verandert de wereld niet, maar duizenden mensen die dit samen doen, ontlasten het net écht. Je optimaliseert niet alleen je eigen investering; je bent onderdeel van de oplossing.

Onderweg laad je zelf ook bij een host

Pulsa werkt twee kanten op. Terwijl jouw laadpaal thuis verdient, kun je zelf onderweg net zo makkelijk bij een andere host laden, dichtbij je werk of op je bestemming, tegen een eerlijk tarief. Overdag, op groene stroom, in plaats van ’s avonds thuis in de dure piek. Aan de ene kant verdien je, aan de andere kant bespaar je. Het hoeft niet. Maar het kan.

Wees er vroeg bij

De eersten die meedoen, leggen de basis van het netwerk. Hoe eerder je host wordt, hoe meer rijders jou vinden zodra ze in jouw regio zoeken. Je verdient vanaf je allereerste sessie, en bouwt mee aan iets dat groter wordt dan je oprit.

Je meldt je aan, koppelt je rekening en stelt je tarief en beschikbaarheid in. Eén keer, en klaar. De rest gaat vanzelf: rijders vinden je, laden bij je, en je wordt automatisch uitbetaald op je eigen rekening. Je hoeft er niet eens voor thuis te zijn.

Jouw laadplek staat dichterbij dan je denkt

Niet iedereen heeft een laadpaal voor de deur. Met Pulsa laad je bij een host in de buurt: dichtbij, voordelig, en je weet vooraf precies wat je betaalt. En het netwerk groeit elke dag: hoe meer hosts meedoen, hoe vaker er een plek om de hoek is.

Overal waar je auto stilstaat, kun je laden

Je auto staat de hele dag ergens geparkeerd: bij je werk, de sportclub, op visite. Waarom zou die tijd niet meteen laadtijd zijn? Met Pulsa laad je bij een host precies daar waar je toch al bent:

• Een middag sporten? Kijk of er een host bij de club in de buurt is en kom terug bij een volle accu.

• Op bezoek bij familie of vrienden? Laad in de straat terwijl je binnen zit, in plaats van later een paal te zoeken.

• Aan het werk of op doorreis? Je auto staat er toch. Laat ’m ondertussen laden bij een host om de hoek.

• De stad in? Laad aan de rand van de stad en pak de fiets of het OV het centrum in. Geen duur parkeren, wel een volle accu bij terugkomst.

En het werkt voor iedereen: geen eigen laadpaal omdat je in de stad woont of op straat parkeert? Dan laad je bij een host net zo makkelijk als thuis. Krijg je een kWh-vergoeding van je werk? Dan kies jij de voordeligste host en houd je het verschil zelf.

Jij kiest de voordeligste plek

Hosts bepalen zelf hun tarief en concurreren om jouw sessie, dus de prijzen blijven scherp. Op de kaart zie je bij elk laadpunt meteen de prijs per kWh, zodat je in één oogopslag de voordeligste host in de buurt kiest. Geen ondoorzichtige tarieven, geen toeslagen die je pas achteraf ontdekt. Wat je ziet, is wat je betaalt.

Een netwerk dat naar je toe groeit

Openbare palen zijn niet overal, en op drukke momenten sta je zo in de rij. Pulsa breidt zich elke dag uit, ook op plekken waar palen schaars zijn. Reserveer wat er is, tot drie dagen vooruit, of zie op de kaart direct welke laadpunten nu bij je in de buurt vrij zijn. En hoe meer mensen meedoen, hoe vaker je plek precies daar is waar je ’m nodig hebt.

Veilig, in één app

Bij Pulsa laad je zonder laadpas-wirwar of losse betaalverzoeken: je regelt alles in één app. Je kiest een laadpunt, laadt, en rekent automatisch af op de exacte kilowattuur die je hebt geladen.

En je weet altijd vooraf wat je betaalt. Op de kaart zie je bij elk laadpunt de prijs per kWh: het tarief van de host en de Pulsa-fee (€ 0,05 incl. btw) samen, in één bedrag. Per sessie komt daar een vast starttarief van € 0,35 bij. Meer is het niet.

De betaling verloopt veilig via Stripe. Zodra je reservering is bevestigd, wordt € 30 op je kaart gereserveerd, net als de borg die een tankstation vasthoudt. Je betaalt dat niet; het staat alleen even vast. Na de sessie wordt alleen je werkelijke verbruik afgerekend, en komt de rest meteen weer vrij. (→ Tarieven)

Groener laden

Wie overdag bij een host laadt, gebruikt vaak stroom die net is opgewekt door de zonnepanelen op het dak. Je laadt dan op lokaal zonne-overschot, in plaats van ’s avonds als iedereen tegelijk het net belast. Voordeliger voor jou, en beter voor het net.

Zelf ook een laadpaal?

Dan werkt Pulsa twee kanten op. Naast laden kun je met je eigen laadpaal ook verdienen, aan de uren dat je ’m zelf niet gebruikt. Host en rijder met hetzelfde account. Het hoeft niet, maar het kan. (→ Voor hosts)

Bij Pulsa weet je vooraf waar je aan toe bent

Hieronder lees je precies hoe de prijs van een laadsessie is opgebouwd: voor rijders en voor hosts.

Wat je betaalt als rijder

Op de kaart zie je bij elk laadpunt de prijs per kWh. Die prijs is het tarief van de host plus de vaste Pulsa-fee van € 0,05 (inclusief 21% btw), bij elkaar opgeteld tot één bedrag. Zo vergelijk je in één oogopslag welk laadpunt in de buurt het voordeligst is, net zoals je bij het tanken naar de literprijs kijkt.

Daar komt per sessie een vast starttarief van € 0,35 bij. Dat staat los van de kWh-prijs en is voor elke sessie hetzelfde.

Verder betaal je alleen voor wat je werkelijk laadt, geen verrassingen achteraf.

Zo is de prijs opgebouwd

Bij Pulsa weet je vooraf precies waar ieder bedrag voor is. Alles begint bij het tarief dat de host zelf kiest. Daar komt de vaste Pulsa-fee bovenop, en samen vormen ze de prijs die jij als rijder op de kaart ziet.

Bij 20 kWh laden

Je betaalt die € 0,30 per kWh over alles wat je daadwerkelijk laadt. Daar komt per sessie het vaste starttarief van € 0,35 bovenop. Dat betaal je maar één keer, ongeacht hoeveel je laadt.

Let op: dit is het bedrag dat je uiteindelijk betaalt. Zodra je reservering is bevestigd, wordt er tijdelijk € 30 op je kaart vastgehouden als borg. Dat zijn geen extra kosten, dat bedrag komt na de sessie weer vrij, op je werkelijke verbruik van € 6,35 na.

Zo wordt het verdeeld

Van die € 6,35 gaat verreweg het grootste deel rechtstreeks naar de host. Pulsa houdt alleen de vaste fee over, nooit meer, nooit minder, ongeacht welk tarief de host kiest.

Waarom het bedrag soms een paar cent afwijkt

De betaling loopt via Stripe. Stripe brengt daarvoor verwerkingskosten in rekening bij de host: voor een standaard EER-betaalkaart is dat op dit moment 1,5% + € 0,25 per transactie. Voor zakelijke EER-betaalkaarten kan Stripe 1,9% + € 0,25 per transactie rekenen.

Het vaste starttarief van € 0,35 gaat volledig naar de host. De uiteindelijke Stripe-kosten hangen af van het bedrag van de laadsessie en het type toegestane betaalkaart. Bij het bepalen van zijn tarief kan de host daar rekening mee houden.

Om de hogere kosten van kaarten buiten de EER te voorkomen, accepteert Pulsa voorlopig alleen betaalkaarten uit de EER. (→ zie ook de veelgestelde vraag hierover)

Eén tarief per sessie

Een host kan voor verschillende periodes een ander tarief instellen, bijvoorbeeld overdag een ander tarief dan ’s avonds. Het tarief dat geldt op het moment dat je sessie start, geldt voor de hele sessie. Begin je te laden in een periode met een bepaald tarief en loopt je sessie door in een volgende periode? Dan reken je gewoon af tegen het tarief waarmee je begon. Zo weet je vooraf precies waar je aan toe bent, en weet de host hoe de sessie wordt verrekend.

Wat je verdient als host

Als host heb je de volledige regie. Je bepaalt zelf je tarief per kWh, in hele eurocenten (bijvoorbeeld € 0,25, niet € 0,253), en je kunt verschillende periodes instellen met elk hun eigen tarief, handig als je stroomprijs varieert. De tijden die je niet beschikbaar stelt, houd je vrij om zelf te laden.

Jij kiest een tarief waar je goed mee zit. Houd daarbij rekening met je eigen situatie, zoals je stroomprijs en eventuele belastingen. Pulsa schrijft je niets voor en bepaalt nooit je tarief; we rekenen alleen de vaste fee van € 0,05 per kWh.

Je ontvangt je eigen tarief per kWh, plus het vaste starttarief van € 0,35 per sessie. Op elke betaling zit een verwerkingskost van Stripe; die hangt af van het bedrag van de sessie en het type betaalkaart. Houd daar rekening mee bij het bepalen van je tarief.

Wat is Pulsa?

Pulsa is een laadnetwerk waarop particulieren met een laadpaal (hosts) hun laadpunt beschikbaar stellen aan EV-rijders. Je regelt alles in de app: een plek vinden, laden en afrekenen.

In welke landen kan ik Pulsa gebruiken?

Pulsa start in Nederland, België en Duitsland, en breidt van daaruit verder uit in Europa. Het netwerk groeit met elke host en rijder die zich aansluit.

Is laden via Pulsa veilig?

Ja. Een laadpaal staat bij Pulsa nooit open voor iedereen: elke sessie verloopt beveiligd via de app, en start alleen voor de rijder die geboekt heeft, op het afgesproken moment. De betaling is bovendien vooraf geregeld.

Wat kost Pulsa?

Je betaalt het tarief van de host per kWh, de vaste Pulsa-fee van € 0,05 per kWh (incl. btw), en een vast starttarief van € 0,35 per sessie. De volledige uitleg vind je op Tarieven.

Gebruiken jullie cookies om mij te volgen?

Nee. Pulsa gebruikt alleen de functionele cookies die nodig zijn om de app en de website te laten werken, bijvoorbeeld om je ingelogd te houden. We volgen je gedrag niet, we tonen geen advertenties, en we delen je gegevens niet met adverteerders. Daar zijn we simpelweg niet in geïnteresseerd.

Wat is Stripe?

Stripe is de betaalpartij die alle betalingen en uitbetalingen binnen Pulsa verwerkt. Wij kiezen voor Stripe omdat het veilig en betrouwbaar is, en direct naar je eigen rekening uitbetaalt. Meer over hoe dit precies in de tarieven verwerkt zit, vind je op de Tarieven-pagina.

Komt er ook een app in de App Store en Google Play?

Op dit moment werkt Pulsa als webapp: je gebruikt 'm direct in je browser, zonder te downloaden. We werken aan een native app voor iOS en Android, die je straks gewoon uit de App Store of Google Play haalt. Tot die tijd werkt de webapp gewoon volledig, op je telefoon net zo goed als op je computer.

Je betaalt met een betaal- of creditcard (Visa of Mastercard) die is uitgegeven binnen de EER. Omdat er bij het reserveren een bedrag wordt vastgehouden, kan dat niet met iDEAL. Pulsa accepteert voorlopig alleen kaarten uit de EER. Werkt je kaart niet? Dan kan dat de reden zijn.

Wat is die € 30 die na bevestiging van mijn reservering wordt vastgehouden?

Dat is een borg, net als bij het tanken. Zodra de host je aanvraag bevestigt, wordt het bedrag even op je kaart vastgehouden; je betaalt het niet. Na de sessie reken je alleen je werkelijke verbruik af en komt de rest meteen weer vrij.

Kan ik vooraf reserveren?

Ja, tot drie dagen van tevoren. Handig als je weet dat je ergens naartoe gaat. Ben je spontaan onderweg? Dan zie je op de kaart direct wat er nu vrij is.

Moet de host thuis zijn als ik laad?

Nee. Alles loopt via de app, dus de host hoeft er niet voor thuis te zijn.

Voor hosts

Welke laadpalen werken met Pulsa?

Pulsa ondersteunt laadpalen die kunnen communiceren via OCPP 1.6J (JSON) en OCPP 2.0.1. Dat zijn open standaarden die door veel moderne laadpalen worden gebruikt. Daaronder vallen bijvoorbeeld modellen van Alfen, Peblar, EVBox, Easee, Zaptec, Wallbox, Smappee, ABB, Hager, go-e, KEBA, ABL, MENNEKES en Elli/VW. Dit is maar een kleine greep uit de merken die gekoppeld kunnen worden. Of een laadpaal geschikt is, kan soms verschillen per model, firmware of configuratie. Staat jouw merk er niet tussen? Dan betekent dat dus niet dat je laadpaal niet met Pulsa kan werken.

Moet ik thuis zijn als iemand bij mij laadt?

Nee. Je stelt je beschikbaarheid één keer in, en de rest gaat vanzelf, ook als je er niet bent.

Wat als een rijder niet betaalt?

Dat kan niet zonder dat het geregeld is. Voordat er stroom loopt, houdt Pulsa het bedrag al vast op de kaart van de rijder. Je levert dus nooit stroom aan iemand die achteraf niet betaalt.

Hoe en wanneer word ik uitbetaald?

Je verdiensten komen automatisch op je eigen bankrekening, via Stripe. Je koppelt je rekening één keer bij het aanmelden; daarna gaat het uitbetalen vanzelf.

Hoe zit het met belasting over mijn inkomsten?

Je verdiensten via Pulsa zijn je eigen inkomsten, net als bij andere bijverdiensten. Het fijne is dat je de administratie niet zelf hoeft bij te houden: omdat betalingen via Stripe lopen, worden je inkomsten automatisch geregistreerd volgens de geldende regels. Hoe je ze in je aangifte verwerkt, hangt af van je situatie. Je boekhouder of de Belastingdienst helpt je daar zo nodig bij.

Wat als er tijdens het laden schade ontstaat?

Schade die met een voertuig wordt veroorzaakt, valt onder de autoverzekering van de bestuurder, net als overal. Daar verandert laden via Pulsa niets aan.

Waarom accepteert Pulsa alleen bepaalde betaalkaarten?

Elke betaling wordt verwerkt door Stripe, en daar zitten verwerkingskosten aan vast. Voor een standaard EER-betaalkaart rekent Stripe op dit moment 1,5% + € 0,25 per transactie. Voor zakelijke EER-betaalkaarten kan dat 1,9% + € 0,25 zijn. Kaarten uit het Verenigd Koninkrijk en buiten de EER accepteert Pulsa voorlopig niet, omdat daarvoor hogere Stripe-kosten gelden. Zo blijven de kosten voor hosts beter voorspelbaar.

Kan ik elk bedrag als tarief instellen?

Je stelt je tarief in per hele eurocent, bijvoorbeeld € 0,25: fracties van een cent zijn niet mogelijk.

Extra verdienen of besparen per land

Kan ik in Nederland naast Pulsa ook extra verdienen met ERE's?

Ja, mogelijk, maar dat regel je los van Pulsa. Sinds 2026 kunnen particulieren in Nederland onder voorwaarden een vergoeding krijgen voor elektriciteit die via hun thuislaadpaal aan elektrische auto's wordt geleverd (ERE staat voor Emissiereductie-eenheid). Dit regel je via een ERE-inboekdienstverlener, die de geladen elektriciteit registreert bij de Nederlandse Emissieautoriteit (NEa) en een deel van de opbrengst aan jou kan uitbetalen.

Je hoeft daarbij niet te kiezen tussen Pulsa en je ERE-dienstverlener. Dankzij Charger360 kan een geschikte OCPP-dienst naast Pulsa blijven werken; gebruikt je ERE-dienstverlener de cloud of API van je laadpaal, dan kan ook die verbinding vaak naast Pulsa blijven bestaan.

Je kiest en regelt je ERE-dienstverlener zelf. Pulsa verzorgt je ERE-registratie niet en ontvangt daar geen vergoeding voor. Of je in aanmerking komt, hangt af van de ERE-voorwaarden: in principe is een geïntegreerde MID-gecertificeerde kWh-meter nodig en moet de elektriciteitsaansluiting op jouw naam staan.

Je verdient via Pulsa met je eigen tarief. Een eventuele ERE-vergoeding is een aparte afspraak tussen jou en je ERE-dienstverlener.

Kan ik in Duitsland naast Pulsa ook extra verdienen met de THG-Quote?

Ja, mogelijk. In Duitsland kan elektriciteit die via een openbaar toegankelijk laadpunt aan elektrische voertuigen wordt geleverd, onder voorwaarden extra waarde opleveren via de THG-Quote, waarbij de werkelijk geladen kWh meetelt (THG staat voor Treibhausgasminderungsquote).

Ook een laadpunt op privéterrein kan in bepaalde gevallen als openbaar toegankelijk gelden. Of jouw laadpunt daarvoor in aanmerking komt, moet je zelf beoordelen en regelen volgens de Duitse voorwaarden, eventueel via een THG-dienstverlener.

Je hoeft daarbij niet te kiezen tussen Pulsa en je THG-dienstverlener. Dankzij Charger360 kan een geschikte OCPP-dienst naast Pulsa blijven werken; gebruikt je THG-dienstverlener de cloud of API van je laadpaal, dan kan ook die verbinding vaak naast Pulsa blijven bestaan.

Pulsa verzorgt je THG-registratie niet en ontvangt daar geen vergoeding voor. Voldoe je aan de voorwaarden, dan kun je mogelijk verdienen via Pulsa én daarnaast aan de THG-waarde van de geladen elektriciteit.

Kan ik in België naast Pulsa ook extra verdienen met e-credits?

Nog niet, maar België werkt aan een uitbreiding waardoor dit mogelijk ook voor particuliere thuislaadpunten beschikbaar wordt. België heeft namelijk een Register voor hernieuwbare energie in transport, waarin elektriciteit voor elektrisch vervoer kan worden omgezet in verhandelbare energie-eenheden, vaak e-credits genoemd.

Particuliere thuislaadpunten vallen nu nog buiten de regeling. In het Belgische RED III-voorontwerp staat echter dat het register in de toekomst kan worden opengesteld voor ondernemingen die de geladen elektriciteit van private laadpunten bij burgers thuis registreren.

Als die uitbreiding wordt ingevoerd, zal dit waarschijnlijk via een gespecialiseerde dienstverlener lopen. Je hoeft daarbij niet te kiezen tussen Pulsa en zo'n dienstverlener: dankzij Charger360 kan een geschikte OCPP-dienst naast Pulsa blijven werken, en gebruikt de dienstverlener de cloud of API van je laadpaal, dan kan ook die verbinding vaak naast Pulsa blijven bestaan.

Pulsa vraagt de e-credits niet voor je aan en ontvangt daar geen vergoeding voor. Zodra de Belgische regeling definitief is, kun je zelf bekijken of jouw laadpaal en situatie in aanmerking komen.

Kan ik in Duitsland besparen op mijn netkosten met mijn laadpaal?

Ja, mogelijk. In Duitsland kunnen bepaalde stuurbare wallboxen onder §14a EnWG in aanmerking komen voor lagere nettarieven, met name installaties die sinds 1 januari 2024 in gebruik zijn genomen en aan de voorwaarden voldoen.

Afhankelijk van je situatie kun je bijvoorbeeld een vaste korting krijgen, een lager variabel nettarief of een tijdsafhankelijk tarief. Dit is geen vergoeding per Pulsa-laadsessie, maar een besparing op je eigen netkosten.

Je regelt dit zelf met je netbeheerder of energieleverancier. Pulsa staat hier los van en verandert niets aan jouw keuze voor een §14a-regeling.

Kan ik andere laadapps of diensten naast Pulsa blijven gebruiken?

Vaak wel. Pulsa gebruikt Charger360, een technische tussenlaag die ervoor zorgt dat je laadpaal niet alleen met Pulsa hoeft te communiceren. Anders dan bij sommige aanbieders hoef je dus niet exclusief voor Pulsa te kiezen: als een andere dienst een geschikte OCPP-koppeling ondersteunt, kan Charger360 de verbinding splitsen zodat beide diensten naast elkaar werken.

Werkt een dienst via de cloud of API van je laadpaal, dan kan die verbinding vaak eveneens naast Pulsa blijven bestaan.

Je hoeft dus niet automatisch afscheid te nemen van een bestaande laadapp of dienst om Pulsa te gebruiken. Of een specifieke combinatie werkt, hangt af van je laadpaal en de betreffende dienst.

Pulsa bevindt zich in de opstartfase. We testen en verbeteren de werking met verschillende laadpaalmerken en bestaande laadapps. Daardoor kan er soms nog iets niet helemaal goed gaan.

Goed om te weten voor hosts

Privé laden doe je normaal gesproken via je bestaande laadapp. Werkt deze tijdelijk niet? Dan kun je in Pulsa via 'Lader beheren' alsnog proberen je eigen auto op te laden, zonder reservering, Pulsa-fee of starttarief.

Deze functie is bedoeld als tijdelijke terugvalmogelijkheid tijdens de opstartfase van Pulsa. Meer uitleg vind je in de app onder 'Beheer je laadpunt'.

Wanneer neem je contact op met je eigen leverancier?

Problemen met je wifi, internetverbinding, stroomvoorziening of een defect aan je laadpaal vallen buiten de ondersteuning van Pulsa. Neem hiervoor contact op met je internetprovider, installateur of laadpaalleverancier.

Waarom ondersteuning in het Engels?

Onze technische partner RND Square is gevestigd in India. Tijdens de opstartfase verzorgen zij rechtstreeks de technische ondersteuning. Je ontvangt daarom voorlopig antwoord in het Engels.

Pulsa General Terms and Conditions

Article 1 — Definitions

1.1 Pulsa: Pulsa B.V., 42080276, operator of the Pulsa platform.

1.2 Platform: the Pulsa app and website through which hosts and drivers are brought into contact with each other and charging sessions are reserved, carried out and settled.

1.3 Host: the user who makes their own charge point available to drivers through the platform.

1.4 Driver: the user who uses the platform to search for, reserve and use a charge point to charge an electric vehicle.

1.5 User: any host and/or driver with an account. One user may act both as a host and as a driver.

1.6 Charge Point: the host’s charging point or charging station that is made available through the platform.

1.7 Charging Session: the charging of a vehicle at a charge point through the platform.

1.8 Stripe: Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd., the external payment service provider that processes payments and payouts.

1.9 Fee: Pulsa’s fee for the use of the platform, amounting to €0.05 per kWh including 21% VAT.

1.10 Start Fee: the fixed amount of €0.35 per charging session paid by the driver and payable to the host.

Article 2 — Applicability

2.1 These terms and conditions apply to every use of the platform and to the legal relationship between Pulsa and the user.

2.2 By creating an account and using the platform, the user accepts these terms and conditions.

2.3 Payments and payouts through the platform are processed by Stripe. Hosts who receive payouts through Stripe are also subject to the applicable Stripe terms and conditions.

Article 3 — The Role of Pulsa

3.1 Pulsa solely operates a platform that brings hosts and drivers into contact with each other and facilitates the reservation, access and settlement of charging sessions.

3.2 The agreement relating to the charging session and the supply of electricity is entered into exclusively between the host and the driver. Pulsa is not a party to that agreement.

3.3 Pulsa does not itself supply electricity and is not an energy supplier.

3.4 Pulsa is not a payment service provider. All payments and payouts are processed by Stripe. Pulsa does not hold user funds at any time.

3.5 Pulsa is not responsible for the performance of obligations between the host and the driver.

Article 4 — Voluntary Participation, Individual Responsibility and Liability

4.1 Voluntary Participation

Participation in Pulsa is entirely voluntary. A Host independently decides whether to make their Charging Point available through the Platform, at what times and at what price.

The Host may decide at any time to stop making their Charging Point available, subject to any existing confirmed reservations.

Pulsa does not require Hosts to make their Charging Points available, does not guarantee reservations or income, and does not charge any fixed subscription or participation fees.

4.2 Direct Agreement Between Host and Driver

When a Driver reserves and uses a Charging Point through Pulsa, the agreement concerning the use of the Charging Point and the supply of electricity is entered into exclusively between the Host and the Driver.

Pulsa is not a party to this agreement.

The Host and the Driver are each independently responsible and, to the extent provided by applicable law, liable for their own acts, omissions and obligations arising from their agreement with each other.

Pulsa does not assume these responsibilities or liabilities.

4.3 Limited Technical Role of Pulsa

Pulsa provides solely a digital platform through which Hosts and Drivers can connect, reserve Charging Sessions and facilitate payment.

For the execution of a Charging Session, Pulsa's technical control is limited to:

a. Sending a command to start a Charging Session;

b. Sending a command to stop a Charging Session;

c. Reading the amount of electricity charged, expressed in kilowatt-hours (kWh), for billing purposes.

The Host authorises Pulsa to perform these actions for Charging Sessions arranged through the Platform.

This limited technical access does not mean that Pulsa assumes the management, operation, maintenance or liability for the Charging Point or the associated electrical installation.

4.4 Host's Own Responsibility and Liability

The Host remains solely responsible for their Charging Point, electrical installation, connection to the electricity grid and the electricity they make available.

This includes, but is not limited to:

a. The safety, proper functioning, installation and maintenance of the Charging Point and associated electrical installation;

b. The lawful consumption of electricity and use of the electricity connection;

c. Obtaining and maintaining any required permits and authorisations;

d. Compliance with applicable laws and regulations;

e. Determining whether the Charging Point is suitable for use by third parties.

The Host remains liable for damage arising from their own acts or omissions, their Charging Point or their electrical installation, to the extent such damage is legally attributable to the Host under applicable law.

Pulsa does not assume this liability by making the Charging Point available through the Platform or by technically facilitating a Charging Session.

4.5 No Inspection, Verification or Supervision Obligation for Pulsa

Pulsa does not inspect, verify, approve or maintain the Charging Points, electrical installations or electricity connections of Hosts.

Pulsa does not verify whether a Host lawfully obtains electricity, holds all necessary permits or authorisations, or complies with applicable technical and legal requirements.

Participation in Pulsa does not constitute any certification, approval or guarantee by Pulsa regarding the safety, suitability or legality of a Charging Point or its associated electrical installation.

Pulsa accepts no liability for damage arising from defects, unsafe conditions, unlawful electricity consumption or a Host's failure to comply with legal obligations, except to the extent that such damage is attributable to Pulsa itself under mandatory applicable law.

4.6 Driver's Own Responsibility and Liability

The Driver is responsible for the careful and safe use of the Charging Point, their vehicle and any associated charging equipment.

The Driver must respect the Host's instructions and all applicable safety requirements.

The Driver is liable for damage caused by their own acts, omissions or vehicle, to the extent such damage is legally attributable to the Driver under applicable law.

Pulsa does not assume this liability merely because the Driver reserves a Charging Point or carries out a Charging Session through the Platform.

4.7 No Assumption of Liability by Pulsa

Making a Charging Point available through Pulsa and using the reservation, technical control and payment functionalities does not result in the transfer or assumption of the responsibilities or liabilities of the Host or Driver.

Pulsa does not act as the owner, operator, installer, maintenance provider, supervisor or electricity supplier of the Charging Points offered through the Platform.

Pulsa is not liable for the acts or omissions of Hosts or Drivers, nor for damage arising from their agreement with each other, except to the extent that Pulsa itself bears liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Disputes and damage claims arising exclusively from the agreement between the Host and the Driver must be resolved between those parties, where appropriate with the involvement of their respective insurers.

4.8 Liability for Pulsa's Own Acts or Omissions

Pulsa is liable only for damage that is legally attributable to its own acts or omissions under applicable law, subject to the limitations of liability set out in Article 13.

Pulsa is not liable merely because a Host or Driver uses the Platform or because a Charging Session has been arranged through Pulsa.

Nothing in this Article excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under mandatory applicable law.

4.9 Impact on Other Apps, Charging Schedules and Energy Management Systems

The Host understands and accepts that using Pulsa may affect the operation or settings of other apps, Charging Point management systems, charging schedules and energy management systems connected to their Charging Point.

Pulsa cannot guarantee that existing settings, automated charging schedules, smart charging functions or connections with other systems will remain unchanged or continue to function without interruption.

The Host is responsible for checking the operation of their Charging Point and any connected systems before and after connecting to Pulsa, as well as during their use of the Platform.

The Host must independently investigate and, where necessary, restore or arrange for the restoration of any changes, disruptions or conflicts involving other apps or systems.

Pulsa is not liable for changes, disruptions, loss of settings or any resulting consequences affecting external apps, charging schedules, Charging Point management systems or energy management systems, except to the extent that such damage is attributable to Pulsa itself under mandatory applicable law.

Voluntary participation in Pulsa does not constitute a guarantee that existing external systems and settings will remain fully compatible with the Platform.

4.10 Private Use and the Host's Own Charging Sessions

The Host remains responsible for the private use of their Charging Point and for Charging Sessions that take place outside the Pulsa Platform.

Pulsa does not manage, monitor or record these Charging Sessions as part of its services and is not liable for disruptions, changes or their consequences, except to the extent that such liability cannot lawfully be excluded under mandatory applicable law.

The Host remains responsible for checking and managing their own charging options, access settings and any charging cards.

4.11 Technical Compatibility and Functionality

Pulsa does not guarantee that every Charging Point, software version or combination of external apps and systems will be fully compatible with the Platform.

The Host is responsible for assessing whether participation in Pulsa is suitable for their Charging Point and the way they use it.

The fact that a Charging Point can technically connect to Pulsa does not mean that Pulsa has inspected or guaranteed the full functionality of the Charging Point or its compatibility with other systems.

Pulsa is not liable for limitations or disruptions affecting external functionalities, except to the extent that such liability cannot lawfully be excluded under mandatory applicable law.

Article 5 — Account and Registration

5.1 To use the platform, the user creates an account. The user must be at least 18 years old and legally competent.

5.2 The user provides accurate, complete and up-to-date information and keeps this information up to date.

5.3 To receive payouts, the host must complete the required verification process with Stripe, including identity verification. If this verification is not successfully completed, the user cannot make a charge point available as a host or receive payouts through the platform until the verification has been completed successfully.

5.4 The user is responsible for keeping their login details confidential and for all use of their account.

Article 6 — Obligations of the Host

6.1 The host has a charge point that is safely and properly installed and maintained in accordance with the applicable requirements.

6.2 The host is entitled to make the charge point available and, where necessary, has the required permissions (for example from a landlord, owner or owners’ association) and permits.

6.3 The host enters accurate information, tariffs and availability and complies with locally applicable laws and regulations.

6.4 The host is responsible for declaring and paying taxes on their income (see also Article 11).

6.5 The host sells the electricity supplied to the driver and is therefore the selling party in the charging session.

6.6 Once a reservation has been confirmed, the host must keep the charge point available to the driver during the reserved time slot, except where this is prevented by circumstances beyond the host’s reasonable control.

Article 7 — Obligations of the Driver

7.1 The driver must hold a valid driving licence, be legally entitled to use the vehicle, ensure that the vehicle is suitable for the charge point, and have all insurance required under the applicable law, including the compulsory motor vehicle liability insurance required in the country where the vehicle is registered or used.

7.2 The driver uses the charge point carefully, in accordance with the instructions, and only during the reserved time slot.

7.3 The driver respects the host’s property and privacy and does not cause nuisance.

7.4 The driver is responsible for any damage caused by the driver or the vehicle to the charge point, the host’s property or third parties in connection with the charging session (see Article 14).

Article 8 — Reservations and Charging Sessions

8.1 The driver may request a charging session up to a maximum of three (3) days in advance for a time slot made available by the host.

8.2 After the host has accepted the driver’s request, Stripe attempts to place a pre-authorisation of €30 on the driver’s payment card. The reservation is only confirmed if this pre-authorisation is successful.

8.3 If the pre-authorisation is unsuccessful, the reservation is not confirmed.

8.4 A time slot for which a charging request is pending is temporarily blocked for other drivers. If the request is rejected or the pre-authorisation is unsuccessful, the time slot becomes available again. A confirmed reservation remains unavailable to other drivers for the relevant time slot.

8.5 A Charging Session reserved through Pulsa can only be started through the Platform by the Driver whose reservation has been confirmed, and only during the reserved time slot.

8.6 The host tariff, Pulsa fee and start fee applicable at the time the charging session starts apply to the entire charging session.

Article 9 — Tariffs and Payment

9.1 For a charging session, the driver pays: (a) the tariff per kWh set by the host; (b) Pulsa’s fee of €0.05 per kWh including VAT; and (c) the fixed start fee of €0.35 per session.

9.2 The tariff per kWh shown on the map consists of the host tariff and the fee combined. The start fee is added per session.

9.3 Following acceptance of the reservation request by the host, Stripe places a pre-authorisation of €30 on the driver’s payment card. This amount is not charged. The reservation is confirmed only after the pre-authorisation has been successful.

9.4 At the end of the charging session, the final amount is calculated on the basis of the actual kWh consumed, the applicable host tariff, Pulsa fee and fixed start fee. This amount is settled through Stripe and any unused part of the pre-authorised amount is released.

9.5 Payment is only possible with a supported Visa or Mastercard debit or credit card issued within the European Economic Area (EEA) and capable of supporting the required pre-authorisation. Payment via iDEAL is not possible because iDEAL does not support this pre-authorisation.

9.6 The payment is processed through Stripe. The amount payable to the host is processed through Stripe, and Pulsa receives only the Pulsa fee referred to in Article 1.9.

9.7 If the final amount of a charging session is less than €0.50, no payment will be collected. The driver will not be charged, the pre-authorisation will be released in full, and neither the host nor Pulsa will receive any payment for that charging session.

Article 10 — Payout to the Host

10.1 The host receives their income through their own bank account linked to Stripe. Payouts are made automatically in accordance with Stripe’s payout schedule.

10.2 Pulsa does not hold any funds belonging to the host. The host is entitled to the host tariff and the fixed start fee of €0.35 per charging session, except for a charging session for which no payment is made under Article 9.7. Stripe’s processing costs are borne by the host and may be deducted by Stripe from the amounts payable to the host.

Article 11 — Taxes

11.1 The host is responsible for correctly declaring and paying taxes on their income generated through the platform.

11.2 Pulsa may be required by applicable law, including DAC7 and other applicable tax reporting rules, to collect, verify and report information about hosts, their transactions and the amounts received through the platform to the competent tax authorities. Stripe may also process or report information where required under its own legal obligations.

Article 12 — Availability and Operation of the Platform

12.1 Pulsa endeavours to ensure the proper operation and availability of the platform, but does not guarantee that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free or always available.

12.2 Pulsa does not guarantee the presence, availability, accessibility or suitability of charge points at a particular place or time. Availability may depend on the host, the charge point, the vehicle, the electricity supply, network connectivity and other circumstances outside Pulsa’s control.

12.3 Pulsa may (temporarily) modify, suspend or discontinue the platform, for example for maintenance.

Article 13 — Liability

13.1 The agreement relating to the charging session and the supply of electricity is entered into exclusively between the host and the driver. Pulsa is not a party to that agreement and is not liable for the acts or omissions of the host or the driver.

13.2 Pulsa is not liable for damage, loss or costs arising from the condition, installation, maintenance, safety, availability or operation of a Charging Point, the supply of electricity, power failures, interruptions or fluctuations in the electricity supply, insufficient charging capacity, or other circumstances relating to the Charging Point or the supply of electricity, except to the extent that liability is attributable to Pulsa itself and cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable mandatory law.

13.3 Pulsa is not liable if a reservation or charging session cannot take place, starts later, is interrupted or cannot be completed due to circumstances outside Pulsa’s control, including a power failure, internet or network failure, failure of the charge point, the vehicle, the host’s electrical installation, a third-party service or any other technical disruption outside Pulsa’s control.

13.4 Pulsa is not liable for indirect or consequential damage, including loss of income, missed savings or loss of opportunity. Additional charging costs, travel costs and other costs resulting from a reservation or Charging Session that could not take place or could not be completed are also excluded, except to the extent that such liability cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable mandatory law.

13.5 Pulsa is not liable for damage caused by the acts or omissions of Hosts, Drivers or third parties, or by defects in Charging Points, vehicles or electrical installations. Pulsa is only liable for damage to the extent that such damage is legally attributable to Pulsa's own acts or omissions and such liability cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable mandatory law.

13.6 Nothing in these terms and conditions excludes or limits Pulsa’s liability in the event of intent or deliberate recklessness on the part of Pulsa, or to the extent that liability cannot be excluded or limited under applicable mandatory law, in particular with regard to consumers.

Article 14 — Damage in Connection with a Charging Session

14.1 The driver is responsible for damage caused by the driver or the vehicle in connection with the charging session, including damage to the charge point, the host’s property or third parties. Where applicable, such damage must be handled through the relevant insurance of the driver or vehicle.

14.2 The host is responsible for a safely and properly installed and maintained charge point.

14.3 Any claim for damage between the host and the driver in connection with a charging session must be handled directly between them and, where applicable, their insurers. Pulsa is not a party to such claim or its settlement.

Article 15 — Prohibited Use

15.1 Charging sessions arranged through the platform must be reserved, carried out and settled through the platform. The host and the driver may not circumvent the platform’s reservation, payment or fee structure in relation to such charging sessions.

15.2 The platform may not be used for fraudulent, unlawful or harmful purposes, or in any way that circumvents or disrupts the security or operation of the platform.

15.3 The user must not provide incorrect information or misuse another person’s account or charge point.

Article 16 — Suspension and Termination

16.1 Pulsa may suspend or terminate an account in the event of a breach of these terms and conditions, a reasonable suspicion of misuse or fraud, a security risk, or where suspension or termination is required under applicable law.

16.2 The user may terminate their account at any time. Termination of the account does not affect confirmed reservations, payments, claims for damage or other rights and obligations that arose before termination and that by their nature continue after termination.

Article 17 — Personal Data

17.1 Pulsa processes personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). How Pulsa does this is described in the privacy statement on the website.

Article 18 — Amendments to the Terms and Conditions

18.1 Pulsa may amend these terms and conditions where reasonably necessary, for example due to changes in the platform, applicable law, regulatory requirements, security, payment processing or the services offered through the platform. Any amendment shall be made in accordance with applicable law.

Article 19 — Governing Law and Disputes

19.1 These terms and conditions and the use of the platform are governed by Dutch law. For consumers, this choice of law applies insofar as mandatory applicable law does not provide otherwise.

19.2 Disputes will be submitted to the competent court, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.

Pulsa Privacy Statement

1. Who we are

1.1 This privacy statement is issued by Pulsa B.V. (“Pulsa”), registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 42080276.

Pulsa is the data controller responsible for the processing of personal data through the Pulsa platform, including the app and website.

2. What data we process

Depending on how you use Pulsa, we process the following data:

  • Account data: name, email address, telephone number and login details.
  • Host data: the address and location of the charge point, and the bank account details and verification information you provide to Stripe to receive payouts.
  • Driver data: vehicle details and the payment information you provide to Stripe.
  • Usage and transaction data: reservations, charging sessions, electricity consumption (kWh), tariffs and amounts.
  • Technical data: device and app data, and location data used to show charge points near you.
  • Communication: messages you send us, for example by email or through technical support.

3. Why we use your data and the legal basis

We use personal data only for the following purposes:

  • Providing our services: to manage accounts, display charge points, and enable reservations and charging sessions. Legal basis: performance of the contract.
  • Payments and payouts: to process payments and payouts through Stripe. Legal basis: performance of the contract.
  • Legal obligations: including identity verification and tax reporting obligations, such as DAC7. Legal basis: legal obligation.
  • Improving the platform: to improve Pulsa based on general usage data. Legal basis: legitimate interests, insofar as personal data is processed.
  • Security and fraud prevention: to prevent misuse, unauthorised access and fraud. Legal basis: legitimate interests.

4. Analysis and improvement of the platform

4.1 Pulsa may analyse general information about how the platform is used to improve the functionality of the app.

This involves aggregated and anonymised data, such as the number of charging sessions, the amount of energy delivered and general information about the use of features.

4.2 These analyses are intended to make Pulsa simpler, more reliable and easier to use. They are not intended to track individual users.

4.3 These analyses may be carried out by Pulsa or by parties performing services on behalf of and under the responsibility of Pulsa.

5. Data visible to the Host and Driver

5.1 To enable a charging session, certain information is shared between the Host and the Driver.

This may include the location of the charge point and the information required to identify and settle the charging session.

We do not share more information than is necessary for the charging session.

6. Who we share data with

Pulsa shares personal data only when necessary to provide its services or comply with legal obligations.

This includes:

  • Stripe: our payment service provider, which handles payments, payouts, identity verification and support for DAC7 reporting. Stripe processes data in accordance with the applicable privacy terms.
  • RND Square: our technical development partner, which develops and maintains the Pulsa platform and provides technical support to Hosts and Drivers. Where necessary, RND Square processes personal data on behalf of Pulsa and acts as a data processor.
  • Other service providers: such as hosting and IT service providers, only to the extent necessary for the operation and security of Pulsa.
  • Competent authorities: where Pulsa is legally required to disclose information.

6.1 We make appropriate arrangements with parties that process personal data on behalf of Pulsa to ensure the protection and security of this data, including data processing agreements where required.

7. Transfers of data outside the European Economic Area

7.1 Where applicable, some of our service providers may process personal data outside the European Economic Area (EEA).

In such cases, we ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

8. How long we retain data

8.1 We do not retain personal data for longer than necessary to provide our services and comply with legal obligations.

After a Pulsa account is terminated, personal data is deleted or anonymised once it is no longer necessary.

Data required to comply with legal obligations, including tax reporting, may be retained for longer where legally required.

8.2 Payment and identity data required for payments and payouts is processed and retained by Stripe, our payment service provider.

9. Security

9.1 We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.

10. Your rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right, where applicable, to:

  • Access your personal data.
  • Have inaccurate personal data corrected.
  • Request the deletion of your personal data.
  • Restrict the processing of your personal data.
  • Object to the processing of your personal data.
  • Have your data transferred.
  • Withdraw any consent you have previously given.

We do not use cookies for commercial purposes, advertising or tracking user behaviour. We also do not share data with advertisers.
